Just a Spot 'O Tea

"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven; A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which was planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love......."

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8a

Ladies' Banquets are so much fun! It's a time when the ladies can get together and fellowship and be encouraged, and just have a good time together.

And the theme this year was

"A Time To Love"

We passed through the flower garden...

and were seated at a table set, ready for an English Breakfast Tea.

Aunt Crystal came with us, and we had SUCH a good time! It was so relaxed, and, of course, we had nothing to do but sit back and enjoy one another's company. : )

Real teacups!

Truffles! : )

...and flowers. : )

Sisters....can you see the resemblance????

After the tea, Mrs. O'Malley spoke. What a challenge! In her whimsical, funny, yet very earnest way, she spoke of how the "teacup of our heart needs to be filled every day" with God's Word as well as trusting the Lord through everyday circumstances. She also shared this acrostic:

T-ime for
E-motional
A-djustment

Afterward, we had our picture taken in the arbor.

What a beautiful day!
