Way back in Lincoln, NE, Mr. Tomato met his fate. He had gone well past his "veggie years" and was more squoosh than firm.
There was a moment of silence as we watched his proper burial....

...and then we all cheered as he made a hole-in-one. : )
Good-bye, Mr. Tommy!!! You were a very photogenic friend! (sniff, sniff!)

I was wondering what happened to the tomato!!! I was going to ask but thought maybe you would say something like, "Well, after two months of traveling the country we ate him." or "We ran over him accidentally." or "Ray Jr. got REALLY hungry." I suppose it was a sad demise for a tomato!!
Sorry to see the end of Mr. Tomato, but I guess the long van ride slowed him down and he was unable to "ketchup."
We were in Kings Mountain this weekend and yall's cat has been living in our storage shed. He meows all the time and is always in our feet. He is a very sweet cat but Cookie does not like him. Have a good trip.
