'Twas The Week Before Hunting Season...

And all through the house
Not a creature was stirring
BECAUSE......

Sunday evening, Bass Pro was having a "Members Only Preferred Rewards" night. Can you guess where the Workman family went after church??? Family outings are an enjoyable time to just relax and goof off a bit, but a trip to Bass Pro...
Full-blown hunting season is nearing, so Dad, Ray, and Sara have been gathering all their paraphernalia plus some for all those "just-in-case" scenarios. Bass Pro night provided a perfect opportunity to pick up some of the last minute necessities.....and a visit to the camo section afforded some great pictures! : )

Would you like the tree look....

the "don't-like-mosquitoes-in-my-face" look....

or the "Oscar-the-Grouch" look?
Hmmmmm......seems to me a scowl on your face would do better for the impression.....definitely too happy. : )
As Dad was "trying on" this last hat and his picture was being taken, we heard a low chuckle behind us. We turned around to see what was so funny, and there was a man passing by watching our little photo shoot. We were his entertainment for the evening. : )

Smile! You're on Candid Camera!

And where did you say Waldo was?????

One happy customer
(By the way, this is the ONLY place he will go to shop. Anywhere else, he will just stay in the car, thank you.)

Getting a hoot out of things

Are you considering a new kind of deodorant?

The Dream Car

Christina and her new toy.....

....and this is Ray with his. The tent we have had for over 12 years started leaking, but only because someone poked a hole in it! It was small and the over sized cots didn't fit so well soooooo, the inevitable finally happened and the tent was ripped! Much to our regret, we had to go shopping for a new one. The stipulations were that two over-sized cots had to fit, and Ray had to be able to stand up in the middle. Not such easy-to-meet requirements. We finally settled on this one, not really knowing what it looked like except for the doll-sized display model. Because it was raining, we took it to the church to set it up. Out of the bag...unfold it...unfold it... unfold it...unfold it...unfold it...UNFOLD IT... It seemed that it would never stop unfolding! It's as big as our camper, and in Mom's words, "it looks like an apartment complex".

Anyone need a place to rent? There's space available! : )
