We knew we had big beasts on our land. As a matter of fact, there's rumor that we have deer, black bear, bobcats, and wild hogs. Oooooooo!!!! Well, there's nothing like evidence, which is exactly what was found last Friday and Saturday........fresh bear scat. Thankfully it was full of berries which means they're not eating meat right now. If it contained hair and was smelly, it would be a different story. Definitely a time to consider running!
From the looks of this, it was a pretty sizable bear, this being a size 18 shoe!
