Just A Wee Bit O' Irish

What do you do when your family tree is rooted in the beautiful land of Ireland and two of your relatives are born on St. Patrick's day? . . . Have a party, of course! Lots of family, lots of balloons, lots of food, and lots of . . .
GREEN!!!

Elizabeth, Cayden, Pa Paw, and Ronald

We celebrated Pa Paw's 82nd birthday and Cayden's 1st.

Cayden didn't quite know what to do with the cake at first. Too clean, for sure! He did turn his candle upside down. ; )

"Here's how you do it, Cayden."

. . . and like Pa Paw like Cayden. What a good teacher! : )

Just a wee bit o' fun . . .

. . . and a wee bit o' lovin'.

Smile, Girls!

Exie in style!

~~~~~~~~~~
May joy and peace surround you,
Contentment latch your door,
And happiness be with you now,
And bless you evermore.
~~~~~~~~~~

We're just a wee bit Irish, eh?

~~~~~~~~~~
May you live a long life
Full of gladness and health,
With a pocket full of gold
As the least of your wealth.
May the dreams you hold dearest,
Be those which come true,
The kindness you spread,
Keep returning to you.
Sledding Fun
Here are the promised videos! Hope you enjoy! : )
I thought I had them until I watched them on the actual blog. They somehow posted wrong with the videos going in fast forward and the audio staying at regular speed. What a comedy! We were in tears from laughing so hard! Hopefully this time it is much better.....well, I should say, the way it was intended to be. : )
On March 8th, our family had the privilege of ministering in Salem, WV. We had a wonderful time with our sweet brothers and sisters in Christ!
Our family sang....
as Christina accompanied on the piano.
There were also some instrumentals, and Ray, Sr. preached. It's a lot of fun serving our Lord together!
While in West Virginia,we stayed in the most beautiful house built back in the early 1900's. It was so big and spacious that it took a little while to figure out where everything was.
There's nothing like having fun with the camera!
Very soon we will have some new additions to our family. : ) Mama cat is due any day now. She's so glossy black that it's hard to get good pictures of her, but yesterday she was sleeping so soundly. Her name is Bubbles, but the best way to spell it is "S-P-O-I-L-E-D". : )
I'm Dreaming of a White.....
"Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool."
Isaiah 1:18
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Sunday night, the Lord blessed us with an abundance of snow! 9 inches, to be exact. : ) It started snowing at about 5:45, and, by the time we got out of church at 7:00, it looked like a winter wonderland. Beautiful!

Big flakes were coming down at the rate of about 2 inches an hour. We made it home without any incidents or accidents and stayed put until the next afternoon when it was safer to venture out.

It was sticking to the trees....

...as well as to the power poles. : ) Look at that!

Everything was white! The neighbor's yard...

~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~

~~~~~~~~
We weren't the only ones enjoying the snow....
Out our dining room window....
Our house...
Our back yard...
The fort/hut...
Before long, we just couldn't stand it any longer. We just had to go sledding! The sun was bright, the air crisp and clean, and the sledding was perfect!
Snow is fun, but it's even more enjoyable when you can share it with someone else. : ) Some friends from church came over for supper, then we all (except for the dads) went out to enjoy!
There are videos that may be posted later, but technical difficulties are hindering it for the moment.....
